• Completion of all daily menus and food products on all parts of the line/kitchen.

• Report any poor or inferior quality product to Lead Chef or above immediately upon noticing.

• Proper food handling in accordance with the County Health Department.

• Required prolonged standing and walking with mobility. Bending and reaching from a level height to 6 feet. Ability to lift, carry, and push items up to 40 pounds with no hindrance. Normal hearing, vision, and hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.

• Having all menu items on hand, or F&B approved substitutions and communicated to entire front of the house team.

• Provide opportunities for loyalty to ultimately occur with guests.

• Accuracy in all recipes used in the outlet, whether produced there or not, and if applicable, proper plating with set standards.

• Daily taking and maintaining of your area and inventory.

• Guaranteeing quality product is on your area at all times.

• Report any facilities needs or equipment failures to your supervisor or outlet manager as soon as noticed.

• Maintains confidentiality and security of relevant information and an awareness of applicable laws and operates within those guidelines.

General Summary

The Express Attendant will contribute to the success of Oxford Casino by providing customer service to all guests and Team Members. They will create an experience for all guests by providing them with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store experience. Position Summary

Responsible for ensuring the overall effectiveness of the food outlets. Provides direction to all team members is these outlets on a daily basis. Provides empowerment to staff and shows dignity, kindness and respect. Involved in recruiting, interviewing, and screening applicants. Adherence to profit and loss versus budgeted numbers.

  1. Provides preshift information to staff about company events, marketing campaigns, adherence to SOPs and opportunities for advancement.

  2. Interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.

  3. Ensures all areas of control are in compliance with Health Codes, OSHA standards, and all governmental agencies.

  4. Computer skills to include Word and Excel.

Responsible for the overall cleanliness of kitchen areas and dishware, tableware, and service ware under the guidance of the Kitchen Supervisors.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions)

• Cleans according to standards the following items and areas: Broilers, deep fryers, grills, ovens, range hoods, ware washing machines, and floors and walk-ins.

• Carefully rinse all dishware, tableware, and service ware for restaurants before sending them through the dish machine.

• Knows and practices Health and Safety standards as set forth by governmental agencies.

• Washes hands at each possible point of contamination.

• Clean, deck brush, and mop all kitchen floors.

• Follows 3-compartment sink procedures.

• Weekly de-liming of each dish machine.

• All team members in this position would be required to frequently lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds.

• Cleans and tidies storerooms as requested.

• Uses all chemicals according to use, and knows where MSDS sheets are located.

Slot Operations Manager - Oxford Casino (Oxford, Me)

Position Summary

The primary objective of the Slot Operations Manager is ensuring the profitability of the Slot floor, guests are receiving outstanding service, and the slot machines are achieving optimization levels. The Slot Operations Manager oversees the work performed by the Slot Department and vendors for all assigned shifts.

Essential Job Functions                                                                       

  1. Walk the property and maintain a high level of visibility on the gaming floor.
  2. Oversee the hiring, training, performance management and corrective action processes for Slot Operations.
  3. Promotes outstanding guest service throughout the Slot Department.
  4. Maintains open communication with management / supervisory staff and ensures reporting of any problems or irregularities are corrected in a timely manner.
  5. Approves large jackpots above levels authorized for subordinates as set out in the submitted System of Internal Controls.
  6. Ensures all slot machines and all related slot systems are operating efficiently at all times.
  7. Works with and trains staff members according to Company standards as well as adheres to all Local, State and Federal laws regarding employment.
  8. Ensures compliance with all Maine gaming regulations.
  9. Maintains a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with fellow Team Members and Vendors.
  10. Ability to accept performance feedback in professional manner.

Job Specifications

  • Seven Plus (7+) years of direct management experience Slot Operations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess demonstrated knowledge of cheat detection.
  • Demonstrated overall working knowledge of the operation of slot machines.
  • Ensures profitability and maximum slot machine efficiency.
  • Must have demonstrated computer application skills.
  • Must have a solid background in slot operations, Oasis 360 Slot System, Microsoft office suite, MicroStrategy BIS tools, and a thorough working knowledge of the following manufacturer’s games: IGT, Bally, WMS, Aristocrat, and Konami, and know both new and older machines, as well as system and participation games.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills.
  • This position requires sufficient experience, education and job knowledge to meet current business needs.

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
