    SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

    Overall purpose and function of job

    Assists Cage/Credit Manager ensuring that all accounting activities of the Cage/Credit function are performed accurately and efficiently in accordance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations of the Mississippi Gaming Commission, Federal and State Tax Commission, and established policies, procedures and controls.

    At least 3 years’ experience as supervisor in a casino cage environment. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables.     SUMMARY: Serves as liaison to the Mississippi Gaming Commission and maintains control of all activities pertaining to the guidelines set forth in the State’s gaming regulations; Ensure compliance with existing internal control policies and procedures; Maintain the necessary internal controls required to safeguard the property’s assets and integrity.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Serves under the direction of the Management Group; In Compliance capacity serves as liaison between the casino and the MGC; Maintains working relationship with the management team and MGC to ensure that problems and/or questions are answered promptly and effectively; Ensure that all compliance issues are addressed according to the gaming regulations; Maintains a working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the MGC, internal controls, policies, procedures and ensures strict adherence to same throughout all departmental operations; Directs the flow of all confidential reports and documents to the proper individuals within the organization, always maintaining the highest level of confidentiality; Serves as the point of contact to the GM and other department heads concerning changes to regulations and statues; Ensure the GM and department heads are made aware of any changes in regulations; Maintain strictest confidence with the department concerning all correspondence, audit reviews, etc. within the Compliance Department; Submits new games and changes to the MGC and other regulatory agencies as required; Documents, issues or obtains approvals of promotions, tournaments, and other events as necessary from the MGC.

    The IT Technician is responsible for providing support for operating system requirements. This position sets up hardware such as personal computers, printers, and servers. Installs and troubleshoots issues and works with the appropriate resources to resolve them; provides on-call support for complex and critical computer application problems and issues; maintains a broad knowledge of state-of-art technology and equipment. Also, the IT Technician has a high level of customer service and teamwork skills. A Bachelors degree and 2-3 years related experience or the combination of education and experience that enables performances in all aspects of the position. A qualified candidate must be eligible to obtain a Gaming License if a contingent offered is extended, which includes drug screening and background checks.
