    As an Assistant Security Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for maintaining security over the entire facility during an assigned shift. Additional duties may include; preparing guest accident reports and security incident reports, escorting coin and cash as well as collecting and transporting drop boxes to the storage area.     Looking for an outstanding performer in the HR Arena.  The HR Generalist executes responsibilities in the following areas: benefits and payroll administration, recruitment, and compliance.     The HR Generalist performs the following tasks:

    • Provide excellent customer service by responding to requests for information through understanding of policies and practices within prescribed HR functions (i.e. recruiting, benefits, etc.).

    • Administers recruiting and selection process for all personnel

    • Facilitate gaming and racing licensing process for all personnel

    • Administers all company benefits programs including communication and invoice reconciliation

    • Manage team member recognition and tenure programs

      What it Takes:

    Job Summary – Supervise and coordinate activities of slot department workers to provide service to patrons. Handle and settle complaints of players.

    Essential Functions

    • In the absence of the Sr. Director of Slot Operations, the Lead Slot Floor Supervisor will fulfill the function and responsibilities of the Sr. Director of Slot Operations.

    • Develops and maintains customer loyalty.

    • Safeguard the confidential information of all team member, department and company records and assets.

    • Monitors, directs, supervises and observes slot activities in the slot facility for adherence to company policies and various gaming regulatory requirements.

    • Ensures customer service standards are met.

    • Promotes positive customer relations, greets customers and creates a friendly atmosphere.

    • Maintain an acceptable consistent, regular attendance record.

    • Ensure full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.

    • Ensures all slot employees are trained, updated and are following safety procedures properly.
    • Possess a working knowledge of all department and company policies and procedures and Rules of Conduct and must enforce the same.
    • Work on actual projects or service to help achieve the objectives of the department.

    Slot Technical Supervisor - Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots (New Orleans, LA)

    Job Summary – Supervise and coordinate activities, projects and moves of slot technical department workers. Handle and settle complaints of players. 

    Essential Functions

    • Responsible for handling all install and conversion, initial set-up, and check out of slot machines and signage.

    • Responsible for breaking down, relocation, and reset up of machines and stands to be relocated.

    • Responsible for initial install of slot accounting system components and communication.

    • Perform initial verification of new software upon arrival.

    • Assist in ensuring machine integrity when jackpots occur and at other times requested.  

    • Perform slot machine RAM clears/key chip and set-up of options as needed. 

    • Maintain slot machine install documents.

    • Maintain knowledge of and ensure full compliance of gaming laws (federal, tribal, and state) and attendant regulations as well as the Company’s internal controls, policies, and procedures.  

    • Provide exceptional service to our guests and employees when performing job duties and conduct oneself in a professional and businesslike manner to reflect the Casino high standard of excellence.

    Technician Operator - United Tote Fair Grounds (New Orleans, LA)

    SUMMARY:

    Tote system data entry and verification work, reports and paperwork for racetrack and/or corporate office, train new employees, maintains, operates, setup, or troubleshoot boards and auxiliary odds boards. Prepares and maintains UT equipment, repairs, maintains and cleans betting terminals, installs and tears down equipment, stock ticket paper on betting lines, unloads ticket stock from freight truck, labeling, packaging, and shipping reordering spare parts, loads and unloads equipment, maintain and repair infield or auxiliary display boards, and other tasks as required.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ·         Tote system data entry and verification.

    ·         Preparation of reports/paperwork for the racetrack and/or corporate office.

    ·         Assist in the shipping, loading or unloading of company equipment and/or supplies.

    ·         Labeling, packaging, shipping and re-ordering of spare parts.

    ·         Assist in the training of new employees and Line Technicians

    ·         Maintain, operate, setup or troubleshoot tote boards and auxiliary odds boards.

    ·         Operation of the communications equipment used at the racetrack.

    ·         Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of United Tote equipment.

    ·         Equipment installation and tear down.

    ·         Stocking of ticket paper on betting lines.

    ·         Unloading of ticket stock from freight trucks.

    ·         Perform minor repairs on terminal components, test components, correctly package components for shipment and order replacement components.

    ·         Develop wiring and soldering skills.

    SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: 

    Must have understanding of what pari-mutuel wagering is and United Tote’s role at the racetrack.   Must be able to interact with association personnel in a professional and efficient manner. Must be able to understand configurations of the Tote room hardware, i.e. modems, multiplexers, consoles, display controllers and printers. Familiarity with the Tote Board installation and operation.

    Understand the system reports and know what information is reported.  Understand how prices are calculated and become familiar with the State rules and regulations.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    High School Diploma or GED.   Line technician experience and electrical and/or computer experience preferred.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

    Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, able to be licensed by state racing commission, able to work flexible work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.   Some travel may be required as the workloads dictate. Must be punctual and have reliable transportation.
