The Concession Attendant will ensure consistent quality products, responsible for the preparation and sale of all food items per menu standards. 

  • Responsible for preparing and selling all food items on the menu and handling all cash transactions.
  • Responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of all food service equipment used to prepare and serve the menu items.
  • Must be able to operate all equipment in their work area.

Track/Slot Operations: Maintenance
Facilities & Maintenance Generalist - Calder Casino & Race Course (Miami Gardens, FL)

Perform basic duties in several areas of Facilities and Maintenance services. These duties are wide ranging and require the ability to make decisions and perform work based on knowledge of the facility and past experience.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Experience with plumbing, carpentry, masonry, electrical, painting, and repair or maintenance of central heating and air conditioning systems.
  • Trained in hands-on equipment maintenance.
  • Maintains a safe work environment.
  • Ability to operate forklift.
  • Ability to operate motor vehicles (must have valid Florida Driver's License)
  • Able to operate computer to access work orders, update work orders, and respond to relevant e-mails as needed.
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks on a minute-by-minute basis and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to qualify for and maintain Gaming License.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Human Resources Generalist - Calder Casino & Race Course (Miami Gardens, FL)

Administers various Human Resources plans, programs, policies and procedures for all company personnel.  Assists in the development and implementation of HR functions including hiring, benefits, training, on-boarding, licensing, employee relations, personnel policies and procedures, and payroll. 

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·          Works as part of the HR Team to ensure excellence in service to our Team Members.

·          Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, ideas and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of the HR department and the services performed.

·          Participates in developing department goals and objectives.

·          May manage recruitment and selection processes including job postings, selection technology and recruiting metrics.

·          Understands and can facilitate the on-boarding process including data entry, collection of paperwork, opening personnel files, scheduling orientations, etc.

·          Develops and maintains records, reports, and logs for various HR functions.

·          May assist with employee relations, recognition programs, and Team Member Events.

·          Participates in HR staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as directed.

·          Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database.

·          Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

  • Repair and maintain slot related equipment on the casino floor.
  • Repair and maintain slot related equipment in the slot shop.
  • Participate in installation, movement, and removal of slot related equipment.
  • Maintain proper gaming logs in order to comply with state or internal regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and security of all guest and employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

Surveillance Operatior is vigilant in observing all areas of the casino and report all procedural infractions and criminal activity to the appropriate person/department.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
