The Cocktail Server is responsible for serving in an excellent and timely manner to assure quality guest service and favorable gaming experience.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for taking orders from patrons and returning these orders in a timely manner.
  • Keep area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Responsible to perform "responsible alcohol service" with regards to patron limitations and pass any/all responsible alcohol service training.
  • Be able to use all bar equipment, cash registers and Beverage System.
  • Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
  • Ability to lift 1-50 pounds.

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

  • Maintaining interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high-pressure situations.

 EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

  • Six months work experience in cocktail serving (Preferred)

Track/Slot Operations: Maintenance
Facilities and Maintenance Manager - Calder Casino & Race Course (Miami Gardens, Fl)

Manages and coordinates activities of Team Member’s engaged in facilities and maintenance duties.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·          Responsible for coordinating, scheduling and reporting on maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance systems. Maintenance projects and site service work.

·          Processes work orders and preventive maintenance using the Facilities Desk Maintenance Software (CMMS).

·          Assumes responsibility for standards of procedures, environmental health and safety awareness and compliance with the respective area.

·          Follows and enforces company policies, procedures and safety regulations.

·          Ensures performance of routine maintenance on company vehicles.

·          Maintains time records.

·          Assists in planning, organizing, scheduling, assigning, and evaluation of Maintenance Team.

·          Assures that proper safety standards and precautions are followed.

·          Assures adequate supplies, materials and equipment are available to crew.

·          Inspects and ensures that equipment is in proper working order; oversees preventive maintenance on equipment.

·          Responds to after-hours calls as needed.

·          Maintain up to date records for all state, federal, and insurance semi-annual and annual inspections.

·          Keep up on technological changes to meet new laws and efficiency standards.

·          Conduct annual evaluations of all operations supervisory.

·          Approve specifications for procurement of supplies, equipment and services related to maintenance department.

·          May be asked to operate a company vehicle and/or equipment that requires a valid Driver’s License.

·          Other duties as assigned.

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE                

·          Management abilities demonstrated in managing assigned duties.

·          Maintain interpersonal working relationships among personnel and the public.

·          Oral and written communication skills

·          Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the position.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

·          Preferred 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in one or more of the skilled trades and some lead experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.

·          Able to obtain valid gaming license.

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons, employees and company assets.  

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·          Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.

·          Assisting in transporting money and chips.

·          Controlling access to restricted areas.

·          Reacting to patron and employee incidents and accidents.

·          Monitoring patron and employee passage in and out of casino.

·          Responsible for checking for and reporting safety hazards.

·          May answer incoming calls to the facility and direct calls or answer patron questions.

·          May be asked to operate a company vehicle and/or equipment that require a valid Driver’s License.

·          Other duties as assigned.

·          Oral and written communication skills.

·          A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
