Camera Operator - Calder Casino & Race Course (Miami Gardens, FL)

Setup and operate television cameras on a daily basis for Calder’s live and taped simulcast production. In addition to camera operation, this position will assist in changing televisions displays on the Calder property.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operate television camera equipment in both studio and ENG configurations.
• Understand what is needed to work in a live television environment.
• Climb 50 foot towers multiple times during a shift.
• Maintain consistency of established look of the production.
• Execute commands of the Technical Director of the production.

Count Team Member - Calder Casino & Race Course (Miami Gardens, FL)

The Count Team Member functions as a member of the Drop Crew, Drop Box Openers, Currency Counter Operator and Recorder. Working at a very rapid pace, the Count Team Member is responsible for emptying slot and Mutuel machines containing un-audited money cans and transporting to the Count Room for counting.

The Count Team Member will work in a close proximity environment, counting contents of money cans, Poker boxes and Mutuels bags.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Adheres to company count policies and procedures and various state gaming regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for collecting Slot drop boxes from slot machines and contents of Mutuels drop boxes.
• Obtain Slot drop boxes from storage carts, open and empty un-audited money out of all boxes.
• Responsible for running money through the currency counter for count.
• Records cash and paperwork activity on the drop count sheets.
• Verifies each shift’s bundles and strapped currency on scope basis.
• Keying in information into the computer.
