Bartender - Calder Casino & Race Course (Miami Gardens, FL)

The Bartender is responsible for providing the patrons with excellent service in a timely manner and to assist the beverage servers with orders to assure quality guest service and provide patrons with a favorable experience.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare drinks correctly at the bar for patrons and for cocktail staff.
  • Sells amenities to the patrons.
  • Assisting with the cleaning of the bar area and assisting with inventory maintenance.
  • Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
  • Responsible to perform 'responsible alcohol service' with regards to patron limitations and pass any/all responsible alcohol service training.

  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment including slicer, steamer, deep fryer, ovens, broiler, grill, mixer, kettle, and griddles.
  • Requires reading and math skill for recipes and measurements.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand basic English in order to read receipts and communicate with other team members.

 The Count Team Supervisor, along with or in the absence of the Count Room Manager, is responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the drop process and count room in accordance with gaming regulations and accounting procedures.

 Administers various Human Resources plans, programs, policies and procedures for all company personnel. Assists in the development and implementation of HR functions including hiring, benefits, training, on-boarding, licensing, personnel policies and procedures, and payroll.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Works as part of the HR Team to ensure excellence in service to our Team Members.
• Assists in evaluation and analysis of reports.
